Businesses Don’t Have To Struggle – Businesses Choose To Struggle
Businesses are failing due to the lack of preparation and know-how. For the past two years, my team and I have established several hundred strong relationships within the small business community within the Sacramento Market. With countless hours of presentations and conversations our conclusions have come to six main speculations. With most small businesses in Sacramento we found that they have:
1. No business plan (goals both short-term or long-term)
2. No core identity (logo, mission statement, tag line)
3. No database (email addresses, cellular phone numbers for text messaging, addresses for mailings)
4. No online presence (website, mobile apps, listings, directories, social media)
5. No marketing budget (advertising, marketing, events, promotions)
6. No time (overworked, focused on production, in need of massive help)
As the saying goes, “people don’t plan to fail, they simply fail to plan”. Every successful business development plan must have a very solid foundation first. Listed above are six key and strategic areas of believe that our team believes should be main areas of focus. Naturally, businesses are stronger in some areas more than others and every business is different having its own process. What would a business look like having all six as strengths?
Nu Digital Media Group has a business development team that can and will completely add value to the suggested six mentioned points as their team has over 50 years combined experience in process and business development not to mention that NDMG is also a full scale marketing agency. For a company brochure on NDMG you can download here.
If you have any tips that you would like to add please comment below. If you disagree, do provide your opinions.
