It is hard enough to send out a blog post everyday let alone make sure that you are keeping up with all of your relationships online. There is a lot more to social media marketing than just creating a fan page and just opening up a Twitter account.

Today we had the pleasure of visiting with a local pizza franchise here in Rocklin, CA. With no surprise, we couldn’t find the business anywhere on Google. That’s right, we were sitting with the business owner, one laptop computer with a WiFi connection, and the word “pizza” in our search box and no business to be found.

We did learn that the business was investing at least five-thousand dollars a month on coupons and mailers but not spending anything in online advertising.
